Job summary

Jobtailor in New Jersey is seeking an experienced Ocean Export Operations Manager to lead the day-to-day export activities, ensuring accuracy and regulatory compliance while coordinating with carriers and internal teams.

You will oversee a team of freight forwarders and coordinators, drive on-time and cost-effective shipments, and mentor staff on export rules, TMS usage, and ERP systems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in logistics, transportation, or related field preferred.
• Minimum 3–5 years of experience in ocean export operations, including supervisory experience.
• In-depth knowledge of export regulations and customs procedures.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and SAP or similar ERP systems.

• Knowledge of export regulations and procedures for other transportation modes (air, land) preferred
