Job summary

Mt. Hood Meadows is seeking an MLC Supervisor to lead instructors and indoor staff in the Meadows Learning Center.

This part-time, seasonal role combines supervision, training, guest service, and mountain operations to deliver memorable experiences for children and families. You'll coordinate lesson assignments, support instructors, communicate with parents, oversee lesson areas, and ensure a safe, organized environment.

Qualifications

• 18 years of age or older
• Experience leading teams in a fast-paced environment
• Strong guest service and communication skills
• Ability to supervise multiple shifts and coordinate lessons
• Willingness to work weekends and holidays during ski season
• Background screening required

Position Overview

Help lead the team that creates some of our youngest guests’ most memorable days on the mountain. As an MLC Supervisor, you’ll play a key role in delivering exceptional children’s and group lesson experiences while leading instructors and indoor staff through the fast-paced daily operations of the Meadows Learning Center.

This is a hands-on leadership role that combines team supervision, training, guest service, and mountain operations. The position includes two daytime shifts supporting the Children’s Learning Center and two evening shifts overseeing Night Lesson operations, providing variety while giving you the opportunity to lead across different areas of the Learning Center. You’ll help coordinate lesson assignments, support instructors, communicate with parents and program partners, oversee lesson areas, and ensure operations are safe, organized, and ready for guests. You’ll also have opportunities to coach and develop instructors, contribute to training and curriculum, and step in on the snow when needed.

Qualifications & Experience

• 18 years of age or older
• Familiarity and demonstration of contemporary teaching and skiing/riding
• Familiarity with most ski and snowboard school operations
• Ability to work in a fast-paced setting while managing large groups
• Desire to work indoors and outdoors in all conditions
• Strong communicationand organization skills
• Microsoft Office, POS, RTP (or similar) and web-based tools skills and experience
• Strong guest service skills and experience
• Minimum of three (2) seasons teaching snow sports experience or equivalent
• Available to work weekends and holidays during the skiing and snowboard season
• This position is subject toa backgroundscreening

Preferred Qualifications & Experience

• Other PSIA-AASI Specialist accreditations
• Supervisory experience
• Ability to teach both skiing and snowboarding

Compensation:

• Starting Wage: $22.70 - $27.74 per hour
