Ascension Health in Carmel, IN is seeking a proactive Clinic Operations Lead to oversee daily clinic activities at the Ascension Medical Group Clinic. You will manage staffing, scheduling, and patient flow to ensure efficient operations and high-quality patient care.

The role emphasizes maintaining clinical and administrative workflows, optimizing resources, and driving productivity while supporting providers and staff in a fast-paced outpatient environment.

• Facility: Ascension Medical Group Clinic

• Department: Diagnostic Medicine of Carmel

• Schedule: Monday - Friday 7:30am-4pm or 8am-4:30pm

How you’ll make an impact in this role

• Oversee daily clinic operations to ensure the office runs efficiently and effectively.

• Ensure appropriate staffing and coverage for providers, patient appointments, PTO, and unexpected call-ins.

• Monitor patient flow, rooming processes, scheduling, and overall clinic productivity.

• Identify operational challenges and implement solutions to minimize disruptions.

• Ensure clinical and administrative workflows are followed consistently.

• Oversee clinic resources, supplies, equipment, and inventory.

What minimum requirements you’ll need

Licensure / Certification / Registration

• Required Credential(s):

• BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.

• Preferred Credential(s):

• Advanced Life Support. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.

Education

• High School diploma equivalency with 1 year of experience OR 2 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required. *Note: Required professional licensure/certification and 1 year of experience can be used in lieu of education, if applicable.

• Leadership experience preferred, including lead Medical Assistant experience.
