Job summary

Phoenix & Folly Hospitality Group is seeking a Breakfast Cook / Prep Cook to own breakfast service and prep for the day. You’ll work with eggs, breakfast meats, potatoes, breads, sauces, produce, proteins, and other ingredients, ensuring the kitchen is ready for service.

This hands-on role combines breakfast line cooking with daily prep. The team values consistency, cleanliness, and communication, with a focus on prep quality and efficient service during busy periods.

Qualifications

• Experience in kitchen; breakfast experience preferred.
• Able to follow recipes and prep lists.
• Maintains clean stations and communicates needs clearly.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and execute breakfast dishes quickly and consistently.
• Cook eggs and other breakfast items across multiple prep styles.
• Operate flat top and kitchen equipment safely and efficiently.
• Complete daily prep per recipes and pars.
• Prepare sauces, proteins, produce, toppings and ingredients for service.
• Label, date, rotate and store food properly.
• Maintain a clean and organized station and prep area.
• Communicate prep levels, shortages, and issues to the kitchen.
• Follow food-safety and sanitation standards.
• Assist team during busy periods.
