Phoenix & Folly Hospitality Group is seeking a Breakfast Cook / Prep Cook to own breakfast service and prep for the day. You’ll work with eggs, breakfast meats, potatoes, breads, sauces, produce, proteins, and other ingredients, ensuring the kitchen is ready for service.

This hands-on role combines breakfast line cooking with daily prep. The team values consistency, cleanliness, and communication, with a focus on prep quality and efficient service during busy periods.

Responsibilities

Phoenix & Folly is a new locally owned restaurant and bar built around elevated comfort food, serious cocktails, and a little mischief.

Our food is approachable without being boring: artisan pizza, smash burgers, breakfast favorites, sandwiches, shareables, dinner plates, and the occasional idea that probably shouldn't work but somehow does.

Breakfast Cook / Prep Cook

We're looking for someone who can own breakfast service and then help get the kitchen ready for the rest of the day.

This is a hands-on role combining breakfast line cooking with daily prep. You'll work with eggs, breakfast meats, potatoes, breads, sauces, produce, proteins, and other ingredients used throughout the restaurant while helping make sure the afternoon and evening crews walk into a kitchen that's ready to go.

What you'll do:

• Prepare and execute breakfast dishes quickly and consistently
• Cook eggs accurately across multiple preparations
• Work the flat top and other kitchen equipment safely and efficiently
• Complete daily prep according to recipes and pars
• Prepare sauces, proteins, produce, toppings, and other ingredients for service
• Label, date, rotate, and properly store food
• Maintain a clean and organized station and prep area
• Communicate prep levels, shortages, and issues to the rest of the kitchen
• Follow food-safety and sanitation standards
• Help the team wherever needed when things get busy

We're looking for someone who:

• Has previous kitchen experience; breakfast experience is strongly preferred
• Is comfortable cooking eggs and working a flat top
• Can follow recipes while working efficiently and independently
• Understands that good prep makes or breaks service
• Keeps their station clean without having to be reminded
• Is dependable, organized, and communicates well
• Can handle an early start and still bring a good attitude
