Job summary

Paducah Riverfront Hotel is seeking a reliable Breakfast Cook to join the morning kitchen team. You will handle the front-line breakfast rush and support prep to keep service moving smoothly.

Responsibilities include made-to-order items, buffet upkeep, station cleanliness, food safety, and collaboration with servers. Must be able to stand for long periods and lift up to 35 lbs; early shifts start around 5am.

Qualifications

• Experience on a breakfast line or in prep work.
• Early-morning shift reliability (5am start).
• Basic cooking knowledge.
• Ability to assist with banquet, catering, and event orders as needed.
• Stamina to stand, move quickly, and lift up to 35 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Breakfast Service: Prepare made-to-order dishes and maintain the breakfast buffet to hotel quality standards.
• Daily Prep: Work through assigned prep lists to set up the kitchen for the following shifts.
• Station Maintenance: Keep workspace clean and sanitized and break down the breakfast line.
• Food Safety: Adhere to health regulations, proper storage, labeling and temperature logging.
• Team Support: Communicate with servers and kitchen staff to ensure smooth service and accurate orders.
