Job summary

Flanigan’s Enterprises is seeking motivated restaurant staff to provide friendly, efficient service in a fast-paced environment. You will handle orders, assist guests with menus and promotions, and ensure accuracy in payments and ToGo orders.

Candidates must be able to stand all shift, lift up to 50 lbs, and complete Florida safety certifications. Flexible hours and a five-day work week are offered with baseline benefits.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Follow safety and sanitation policies and training
• Support staff with table appearance and running food/drink
• Know the menu and promotions; answer guests’ questions clearly
• Enter orders accurately into POS system
• Retrieve and deliver orders to guests promptly
• Process payments; ensure correct transactions and change
• Handle shift changes, opening/closing duties, sidework
• Pack and verify ToGo orders with guests
• Greet guests at curbside pickup area

Responsibilities

• Follows all company safety and sanitation policies and procedural training
• Support fellow employees in maintaining table appearance, food/drink running, etc. as needed
• Be knowledgeable regarding Food & Beverage menus and items, current food and/or drink promotions and specials, and answer guests’ questions verbally and clearly
• Accurately enter orders into POS system
• Retrieve food or drink orders from kitchen or bar area, and deliver them to guests in a timely manner
• Collect guests’ payments (credit cards, cash, or gift cards only), ensure transactions are correct using POS efficiently, calculate and deliver correct change to guests in a timely manner
• Perform shift changes, opening/closing duties, assigned sidework
• Pack and verfy all ToGo orders with guest
• Greet guests at the curbside pickup area

Qualifications

• Can physically stand/walk 100% of shift
• Can reach, bend, stoop frequently
• Able to deliver plates, and clear tables of plates and glasses, which may require lifting up to 50 lbs
• Ability to speak, read and write English
• Ability to read and write handwritten guest checks, notes, etc
• Complete and pass Florida Responsible Vendor program, in compliance with Flanigan’s and Florida statutes
• Complete and pass food safety certification program, in compliance with Flanigan’s and Florida statutes
• Ability to work flexible hours
• Work in a fast paced environment
