Flanigan’s is seeking a customer-focused team member to support food and beverage service, maintain clean and organized dining areas, and assist with curbside pickup. You will handle orders, payments, and guest inquiries in a fast-paced environment.

Applicants should be able to stand for long shifts, lift up to 50 lbs, and pass Florida safety and food handling certifications. Flexible hours and teamwork are essential at Flanigan’s.

Qualifications

• Ability to speak, read and write English.
• Complete Florida Responsible Vendor program in compliance with statutes.
• Complete and pass food safety certification program.

Responsabilités

• Know menu items and promotions; answer guests' questions clearly.
• Enter orders into POS accurately.
• Retrieve and deliver orders to guests promptly.
• Handle payments and ensure correct transactions with POS.
• Manage shift changes and opening/closing duties.
• Pack and verify ToGo orders with guests.
• Greet guests at curbside pickup area.

Overview

At Flanigan’s, we strive to bring together warm, caring, friendly, outgoing people, who find joy in serving others.

Responsibilities

• Follows all company safety and sanitation policies and procedural training
• Support fellow employees in maintaining table appearance, food/drink running, etc. as needed
• Be knowledgeable regarding Food & Beverage menus and items, current food and/or drink promotions and specials, and answer guests’ questions verbally and clearly
• Accurately enter orders into POS system
• Retrieve food or drink orders from kitchen or bar area, and deliver them to guests in a timely manner
• Collect guests’ payments (credit cards, cash, or gift cards only), ensure transactions are correct using POS efficiently, calculate and deliver correct change to guests in a timely manner
• Perform shift changes, opening/closing duties, assigned sidework
• Pack and verfy all ToGo orders with guest
• Greet guests at the curbside pickup area

Qualifications

• Can physically stand/walk 100% of shift
• Can reach, bend, stoop frequently
• Able to deliver plates, and clear tables of plates and glasses, which may require lifting up to 50 lbs
• Ability to speak, read and write English
• Ability to read and write handwritten guest checks, notes, etc
• Complete and pass Florida Responsible Vendor program, in compliance with Flanigan’s and Florida statutes
• Complete and pass food safety certification program, in compliance with Flanigan’s and Florida statutes
• Ability to work flexible hours
• Work in a fast paced environment
