Job summary

Flanigan’s Enterprises, Inc. seeks friendly team members to provide fast, accurate service to guests. You will enter orders in the POS, retrieve and deliver items, collect payments, and handle to-go orders with care.

You must stand/walk throughout your shift and be able to lift up to 50 lbs. Applicants should be able to read/write English, work flexible hours, and complete Florida safety and certification programs.

Qualifications

• English proficiency required to read and write guest checks and notes.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Flexibility to work varying hours and shifts.
• Must be 21 or older to enroll in 401K and related programs.
• Complete Florida Responsible Vendor program and food safety certification.

Responsibilities

• Accurately enter orders into POS system.
• Retrieve and deliver food and drinks to guests in a timely manner.
• Collect payments and provide correct change.
• Assist with opening/closing duties and sidework.
• Greet guests at curbside pickup area.
• Pack and verify all ToGo orders with guests.

• Follows all company safety and sanitation policies and procedural training
• Support fellow employees in maintaining table appearance, food/drink running, etc. as needed
• Be knowledgeable regarding Food & Beverage menus and items, current food and/or drink promotions and specials, and answer guests’ questions verbally and clearly
• Accurately enter orders into POS system
• Retrieve food or drink orders from kitchen or bar area, and deliver them to guests in a timely manner
• Collect guests’ payments (credit cards, cash, or gift cards only), ensure transactions are correct using POS efficiently, calculate and deliver correct change to guests in a timely manner
• Perform shift changes, opening/closing duties, assigned sidework
• Pack and verfy all ToGo orders with guest
• Greet guests at the curbside pickup area
• Can physically stand/walk 100% of shift
• Can reach, bend, stoop frequently
• Able to deliver plates, and clear tables of plates and glasses, which may require lifting up to 50 lbs
• Ability to speak, read and write English
• Ability to read and write handwritten guest checks, notes, etc
• Complete and pass Florida Responsible Vendor program, in compliance with Flanigan’s and Florida statutes
• Complete and pass food safety certification program, in compliance with Flanigan’s and Florida statutes
• Ability to work flexible hours
• Work in a fast paced environment
• Five (5) Day Work Week
