Job summary

Flanigan’s Enterprises is seeking friendly, outgoing team members who enjoy serving guests and working in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities include taking orders, managing the POS, delivering meals, and ensuring accurate payment handling.

Candidates must be able to stand throughout shifts, lift up to 50 lbs, and hold Florida Responsible Vendor and food safety certifications. Flexible hours and a five-day work week are offered with health insurance and a 401(k) plan.

Qualifications

• Ability to stand/walk 100% of shift.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs when delivering or clearing tables.
• Ability to read and write English clearly.
• Pass Florida Responsible Vendor program and food safety certification.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests and deliver orders promptly.
• Enter orders accurately into the POS system.
• Retrieve and deliver food and beverages to tables and curbside pickup area.
• Collect payments and handle cash/card transactions accurately.

Overview

At Flanigan’s, we strive to bring together warm, caring, friendly, outgoing people, who find joy in serving others.

Responsibilities

• Follows all company safety and sanitation policies and procedural training
• Support fellow employees in maintaining table appearance, food/drink running, etc. as needed
• Be knowledgeable regarding Food & Beverage menus and items, current food and/or drink promotions and specials, and answer guests’ questions verbally and clearly
• Accurately enter orders into POS system
• Retrieve food or drink orders from kitchen or bar area, and deliver them to guests in a timely manner
• Collect guests’ payments (credit cards, cash, or gift cards only), ensure transactions are correct using POS efficiently, calculate and deliver correct change to guests in a timely manner
• Perform shift changes, opening/closing duties, assigned sidework
• Pack and verfy all ToGo orders with guest
• Greet guests at the curbside pickup area

Qualifications

• Can physically stand/walk 100% of shift
• Can reach, bend, stoop frequently
• Able to deliver plates, and clear tables of plates and glasses, which may require lifting up to 50 lbs
• Ability to speak, read and write English
• Ability to read and write handwritten guest checks, notes, etc
• Complete and pass Florida Responsible Vendor program, in compliance with Flanigan’s and Florida statutes
• Complete and pass food safety certification program, in compliance with Flanigan’s and Florida statutes
• Ability to work flexible hours
• Work in a fast paced environment
