Flanigan’s is looking for a friendly, energetic restaurant team member to join our Florida location. You will engage guests, take accurate orders, and ensure swift service from kitchen to table while upholding safety and sanitation standards.

Responsibilities include inputting orders into the POS, handling payments, and assisting with ToGo orders and curbside pickup. The role requires physical stamina and flexible hours in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifikationen

• Must be able to speak, read and write English.
• Complete and pass Florida Responsible Vendor program, in compliance with Floridian statutes.
• Complete and pass food safety certification program, in compliance with Floridian statutes.
• Ability to work flexible hours and in a fast-paced environment.

Overview

Responsibilities

• Follows all company safety and sanitation policies and procedural training
• Support fellow employees in maintaining table appearance, food/drink running, etc. as needed
• Be knowledgeable regarding Food & Beverage menus and items, current food and/or drink promotions and specials, and answer guests’ questions verbally and clearly
• Accurately enter orders into POS system
• Retrieve food or drink orders from kitchen or bar area, and deliver them to guests in a timely manner
• Collect guests’ payments (credit cards, cash, or gift cards only), ensure transactions are correct using POS efficiently, calculate and deliver correct change to guests in a timely manner
• Perform shift changes, opening/closing duties, assigned sidework
• Pack and verfy all ToGo orders with guest
• Greet guests at the curbside pickup area

Qualifications

• Can physically stand/walk 100% of shift
• Can reach, bend, stoop frequently
• Able to deliver plates, and clear tables of plates and glasses, which may require lifting up to 50 lbs
• Ability to speak, read and write English
• Ability to read and write handwritten guest checks, notes, etc
• Complete and pass Florida Responsible Vendor program, in compliance with Flanigan’s and Florida statutes
• Complete and pass food safety certification program, in compliance with Flanigan’s and Florida statutes
• Ability to work flexible hours
• Work in a fast paced environment
