Job summary

Flanigan's Enterprises is seeking a friendly, energetic team member to support guest service and restaurant operations. You will follow safety policies, assist with table care and running food, and answer questions about menus and promotions.

You will accurately enter orders in POS, deliver orders promptly, handle payments, and participate in opening/closing duties while maintaining a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Must complete Florida Responsible Vendor program and Florida food safety standards.
• Able to stand/walk up to entire shift and lift up to 50 lbs.
• Fluent in English; reading and writing guest checks.
• Flexible hours in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Follow safety and sanitation policies and procedural training.
• Support fellow employees in maintaining table appearance, food/drink running, etc. as needed.
• Be knowledgeable regarding Food & Beverage menus and items, current food and/or drink promotions and specials, and answer guests’ questions verbally and clearly.
• Accurately enter orders into POS system.
• Retrieve food or drink orders from kitchen or bar area, and deliver them to guests in a timely manner.
• Collect guests’ payments (credit cards, cash, or gift cards only), ensure transactions are correct using POS efficiently, calculate and deliver correct change to guests in a timely manner.
• Perform shift changes, opening/closing duties, assigned sidework.
• Pack and verify all ToGo orders with guest.
• Greet guests at the curbside pickup area

• Can physically stand/walk 100% of shift
• Can reach, bend, stoop frequently
• Able to deliver plates, and clear tables of plates and glasses, which may require lifting up to 50 lbs
• Ability to speak, read and write English
• Ability to read and write handwritten guest checks, notes, etc
• Complete and pass Florida Responsible Vendor program, in compliance with Flanigan’s and Florida statutes
• Complete and pass food safety certification program, in compliance with Flanigan’s and Florida statutes
• Ability to work flexible hours
• Work in a fast paced environment
