Job summary

Bolton & Menk, Inc. is seeking a Civil Engineering Intern for the 2027 summer season. You will work with engineers and project managers on municipal infrastructure projects, with substantial time in the field supporting construction activities and gaining practical engineering experience.

Placement includes exposure to Water Resources, Environmental, and Municipal Engineering. Relocation and housing are not included; applicants must be authorized to work in the United States.

Qualifications

• Enrollment in Civil Engineering degree program or closely related field.
• Minimum GPA 2.8; 3.2+ preferred.
• Sophomore or above with coursework in surveying and AutoCAD drafting.

Responsibilities

• Assist on civil engineering projects with planning, design, and reports.
• Prepare reports, plans, specifications, and cost estimates.
• Support construction observation and staking duties.
• Contribute to design calculations and review shop drawings when assigned.
