Job summary

Trane Technologies is offering a Hands-On Summer Internship in Technical Sales across North America. You will collaborate with Sales Account Managers and customers to understand design, application and sale of HVAC systems, controls, parts and services for commercial, industrial, and institutional buildings.

The internship runs 12 weeks, emphasizes technical, business, sales engineering, leadership and communication skills, and may lead to joining our Graduate Training Program after graduation.

Qualifications

• Actively enrolled in a bachelor’s or master’s degree throughout the internship.
• Preferred fields: Information Technology, Information Systems, Engineering Technology, Engineering.
• US work authorization: citizen or right to work in the US without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Work directly with Sales Account Managers and customers.
• Understand the design, application and sale of systems, controls, parts, and services for commercial, industrial, and institutional buildings.
• Attend sales meetings, business functions, and customer meetings with experienced account managers.
• Be hands-on in the steps sales engineers take from start to finish during the internship.
• Build relationships with customers as a daily point-of-contact in solution making.
