Job summary

MasTec Renewables, a leading renewable energy construction firm, seeks an Administrative Safety Support at a project site. You will assist the Safety Manager and Coordinator with drug testing, documentation, training logistics, and safety program maintenance while relocating for 12+ weeks to various project locations across the United States.

The role emphasizes safety compliance, reporting, and coordination with multiple teams, requiring strong MS Office skills and familiarity with MSHA/OSHA

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s program studying Safety Management, Occupational Safety or Construction Management or a related field.
• Maintain a GPA of 2.9 or higher.
• Functional computer skills and advanced knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint as required to manage the safety program.

Responsibilities

• Assist with entering drug and alcohol testing results.
• Scan employment documentation and log into system as needed.
• Assist in preparing employee DOT drug and alcohol files.
• Enter training rosters into Learning Zone or Training Database for classroom and safety training sessions.
• Coordinate and present safety training to support company and client requirements.
• Attend safety meetings and assist in maintaining safety binders and manuals.
• Maintain current safety info in Excel and pull safety records and stats when needed.
