Job summary

Murphy-Hoffman Company (MHC-Kenworth) invites students to join the Operations Intern Program, a 12-week rotation through Parts or Service where you gain hands-on exposure to operating a multi-state trucking dealer network.

You will execute business initiatives, rotate through departments, and complete a summer process-improvement project; this internship serves as a pipeline into the Full-Time Management Trainee Program.

Qualifications

• Pursuing an accredited college or university degree (undergrad or graduate).
• Willingness to work 40 hours per week for the summer term (10–12 weeks).
• Leadership and sales skills strongly preferred.
• Strong commitment to quality work and customer service; open to feedback.

Responsibilities

• Execute business initiatives while gaining hands-on experience across the dealership.
• Utilize education and training to perform job functions under supervisor guidance.
• Develop skills to rotate within the department for a holistic view of the business.
• Lead a summer-long process improvement project and contribute to the operation.
