Job summary

Murphy-Hoffman Company (MHC-Kenworth) offers a 12-week Operations Internship as part of its Summer Management Operations Internship program. You will rotate through Parts or Service, executing initiatives and contributing to the business under supervision.

You will gain hands-on exposure in a billion-dollar industry with on-the-job training, networking, and a pathway into the full-time Management Trainee Program. The role requires pursuing a degree and a 40-hour work week for 10–12 weeks.

Qualifications

• Actively pursuing a graduate or undergraduate degree at an accredited college or university.
• Willingness to work 40 hours per week for 10-12 weeks during the summer months.
• Leadership and sales skills strongly preferred.
• Strong commitment to providing quality work and excellent customer service.
• Ability to accept constructive feedback.

Responsibilities

• Execute business initiatives while receiving hands-on experience in all facets of the dealership.
• Utilize education, training, and experience to perform assigned job functions under close supervision of a manager or other designated employees.
• Develop skills necessary to rotate within the assigned department to get a comprehensive understanding of running the business.
• Opportunity to make an impact on the business by conducting a summer-long process improvement project.
