Job summary

Murphy-Hoffman Company (MHC-Kenworth) invites you to join its Summer Operations Intern Program in Knoxville, TN. This 12-week internship provides a hands-on deep dive into how our Parts or Service Department operates, with rotations through each position and a summer-long process improvement project.

You will gain mentorship, exposure to leading a truck dealership, on-the-job training, and solid pathways toward our Full-Time Management Trainee Program.

Qualifications

• Actively pursuing a graduate or undergraduate degree at an accredited college or university.
• Willingness to work 40 hours per week for 10-12 weeks during the summer months.
• Leadership and sales skills strongly preferred.
• Strong commitment to providing quality work and excellent customer service.

Responsibilities

• Execute business initiatives with hands-on experience in all dealership facets.
• Perform assigned functions under supervision of a manager or other designated employees.
• Develop skills necessary to rotate within the assigned department to get a comprehensive understanding of running the business.
• Opportunity to conduct a summer-long process improvement project.
