Job summary

Bolton & Menk, Inc. is seeking a Land Development Civil Engineering Intern for Summer 2027.

This internship focuses on design and construction phase activities for land development projects, with opportunities to work on reports, plans, specs, cost estimates, and construction observation. Minimum requirements include enrollment in Civil Engineering, GPA 2.8+ (3.2+ preferred), sophomore or higher with surveying and AutoCAD coursework, and a valid driver's license with travel reimbursement.

Qualifications

• Must be enrolled in a Civil Engineering degree program from an accredited post-secondary institution.
• Minimum GPA 2.8; preferred 3.2 or above.
• Sophomore or higher with coursework in surveying and AutoCAD drafting.
• Must be able to work outdoors and navigate rugged terrain for observation duties.
• Valid driver’s license and own transportation; business travel reimbursed.

Responsibilities

• Assist on civil engineering projects with tasks involving civil engineering, planning and design.
• Assist with preparation of reports, plans, specifications, and cost estimates.
• Assist with construction observation, staking, and administration duties.
• Contribute to design calculations, write specifications, and review shop drawings in some roles.
