Job summary

Bolton & Menk, Inc. is offering a summer internship for 2027 in the Raleigh, NC area. You will gain practical, on-the-job experience in land development civil engineering, working with design and construction activities for private clients.

Selected candidates are enrolled in Civil Engineering programs, with a GPA around 2.8 or higher; Sophomore or higher with surveying and AutoCAD coursework is preferred. Relocation and visa sponsorship are not provided.

Qualifications

• Enrolled in Civil Engineering degree program or closely related program.
• Minimum GPA 2.8; desired 3.2 or above.
• Sophomore or above with coursework in surveying and AutoCAD drafting.

Responsibilities

• Assist on civil engineering projects with tasks involving civil engineering, planning and design.
• Assist with preparation of reports, plans, specifications, and cost estimates.
• Assist with construction observation, staking, and construction administration duties.
• Some opportunities may involve reports, design calculations, writing specifications, or reviewing shop drawings.
