This on-site, part-time internship offers hands-on experience in design and construction phase activities for land development projects, working with a team of professionals. Candidates should be enrolled in Civil Engineering with a minimum 2.8 GPA (3.2+ preferred) and coursework in surveying and AutoCAD.

Qualifications

• Selected candidates will be enrolled in a Civil Engineering degree program.
• Minimum GPA 2.8; Desired 3.2 or above.
• Sophomore or above with completed coursework in general surveying and AutoCAD drafting.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and own transportation or access to public transportation; travel may be reimbursed.
• Applicants must be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Assist on civil engineering projects with tasks involving civil engineering, planning and design.
• Assist with the preparation of reports, plans, specifications, and cost estimates.
• Assist with construction observation, staking, and construction administration duties.
• Some projects may include design calculations and reviewing shop drawings.
