Job summary

Capital District Physicians Health Plan Inc invites students to join a 10-week paid Summer College Internship Program. Interns will participate in development workshops, be mentored by managers, and work on meaningful projects across business, IT, actuarial, and analytics tracks.

The program runs from June to August (up to 40 hours/week). Housing is not provided. Interns may work within technical or non-technical areas, gaining exposure to corporate operations and privacy standards.

Qualifications

• Majors: Computing Sciences & Information Technology, Information Governance, or similar program(s).
• Excel experience preferred; courses in information security and strong communication skills.
• Must be in good academic standing.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills interfacing with technical and non-technical audiences.

Responsibilities

• Support development and performance of monthly, quarterly, and board reporting.
• Support metric reporting and ECO reporting internally.
• Work with a mentor and support key strategic projects.
• Complete work assignments based on business needs and priorities.
• Create and deliver presentations at internship completion.
