Job summary

Capital District Physicians Health Plan Inc. offers a 10-week paid Summer College Internship Program for undergraduate and graduate students. Interns work on meaningful projects, are mentored by managers, and participate in development workshops across business and tech tracks.

Interns may focus in technical or non-technical areas, with workshops to help transition to the corporate environment; housing is not provided. Up to 40 hours per week, June to August.

Qualifications

• High School diploma with proof of continuous college enrollment in a full-time undergraduate or graduate program.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills for both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Support the Candesa Pharmacy Solutions development team by implementing and testing application enhancements.
• Complete conversion work and participate in Agile ceremonies.
• Collaborate with team members through code reviews and technical discussions.
• Contribute to the delivery of high-quality software solutions with mentor guidance.
• Deliver presentations at internship completion.
