Job summary

Great Wolf Lodge in Sandusky, OH invites you to a 10-week Summer Hospitality Internship designed to immerse you in guest services, housekeeping, retail, attractions, entertainment, or F&B. You’ll gain hands-on experience, mentorship, and a pathway to full-time opportunities within our hospitality brand.

Positions are on-site with flexible scheduling including evenings, weekends, and holidays; you’ll develop teamwork, communication, and guest service skills while supporting a high-volume resort

Qualifications

• Must have a High School diploma or equivalent.
• Must be currently enrolled in an associate or bachelor's degree program during internship.
• Available to complete at minimum a 10-week program (End of May to Early August).
• Experience utilizing basic math skills with ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to read, write, and interpret instructional documents such as reports and procedure manuals.
• Flexibility regarding scheduling based on business demands; including evenings, weekends, and Holidays.
• Must have unrestricted work authorization in the US.
• No housing or relocation will be provided.
• Successful completion of a criminal background check and drug screen.

Responsibilities

• Greet and engage guests while maintaining professional presentation.
• Respond promptly to guest inquiries and elevate issues to leadership.
• Enhances the guest experience through providing exceptional customer service.
• Follow all safety guidelines, company procedures, and asset protection protocols.
• Participate in required safety and emergency training.
• Report any incidents or hazards to leadership.
• Maintain organized, clean work areas that comply with health and safety standards.
• Perform all duties outlined for assigned area and ensure dependable attendance.
