Bon Appetit Management Company in the Greater New York area is hiring a Culinary Intern for Summer 2027. This paid internship offers hands-on kitchen experience under culinary mentors across multiple stations.

Interns rotate through pizza/pasta, deli, salad bar, grill, and international cuisine, engaging with guests and learning wellness, safety, and sustainability initiatives. Applicants must be enrolled in a college culinary or hospitality program, meet GPA requirements, and be available 20–40

Qualifications

• Applicants must be currently enrolled in a college or professional culinary program.
• Must meet university GPA requirement for internship.
• Sanitation standards training completed.
• Completed knife skills and/or Intro to Culinary coursework.
• Must be available to work 20–40 hours per week depending on business needs.
• College credit is not required, but we will provide documentation if necessary.

Responsibilities

• Prepare menu items across all kitchen stations.
• Rotate through pizza/pasta, deli, salad bar, grill, and international cuisine.
• Engage with guests and tailor plates to their dietary needs.
• Review culinary and front-of-house standards.
• Learn wellness and sustainability initiatives.
• Adhere to customer service standards.
• Consistently practice safety and sanitation protocols.
• Assist with catering events, including set-up and execution.
• Develop professional relationships and enhance interpersonal skills.
