The Bon Appétit Hospitality & Event Management Internship Program is a paid, summer opportunity for hospitality students to gain hands-on experience in a dynamic culture. Interns work under mentors across cafés, catering, and events in New York.

Rotate through front‑of‑house roles, deliver friendly service, assist with catering setup and marketing tasks, and learn how we maintain standards and client satisfaction in a leading food service organization.

Qualifications

• Applicants must be enrolled in a college/university pursuing Hospitality or Event Management.
• Meet university GPA requirement for internship.
• Successful completion of Intro to Hospitality coursework.
• Must be available to work 20–40 hours/week based on business needs and internship requirements.
• College credit not required, but documentation can be provided.

Responsibilities

• Rotate through front-of-house roles in cafe, catering, and coffee shop.
• Provide consistently friendly and courteous service to guests.
• Support catering events by setting up, arranging buffet stations, ensuring customer satisfaction, and managing cleanup.
• Assist with marketing tasks, including signage, seasonal decorations, and food holiday communications.
• Adhere to customer service standards.
• Review catering and front-of-house standards.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and client expectations.
