Job summary

Flik Hospitality Group is seeking a Culinary Intern at the New York Jets Training Facility in Florham Park, NJ. This paid internship offers hands-on kitchen experience, mentorship from seasoned culinary staff, and exposure to a fast-paced hospitality operation.

Applicants must be enrolled in a college program majoring in Hospitality Management or Culinary Arts, available to work 20–40 hours per week, and capable of handling both FOH/BOH stations as needed. Compensation is $18 per hour.

Qualifications

• Must be currently enrolled in a college/university and pursuing a Hospitality Management and/or Culinary Arts degree.

Responsibilities

• Rotate through FOH and BOH stations depending on location or needs.
• Engage with guests and tailor plates to dietary needs.
• Meet with the team dietitian.
• Review culinary and front-of-house standards.
• Learn about wellness and sustainability initiatives.
• Adhere to platinum service customer service standards.
• Practice safety and sanitation protocols.
• Assist with catering events, including setup and execution.
• Develop professional relationships and enhance interpersonal skills.
