Job summary

Compass Group USA's FLIK division seeks a Culinary Intern for the Washington Nationals facility in Washington, D.C. This paid internship runs Summer 2027 (May–August) with 20 hours/week minimum, and offers hands-on training in both FOH and BOH stations, plus mentorship and networking.

Applicants must be currently enrolled in a college program in Hospitality Management or Culinary Arts and be prepared to work 20–40 hours per week.

Qualifications

• Must be enrolled in a college/university pursuing Hospitality Management and/or Culinary Arts.

Responsibilities

• Rotate through FOH and BOH stations depending on location or needs.
• Assist with catering events, including setup and execution.
• Engage with guests and tailor plates to dietary needs.
• Meet with team dietitian and review culinary/front-of-house standards.
