Job summary

Compass Group USA is offering a paid culinary internship with FLIK for the Pittsburgh Pirates Spring Training Facility in Bradenton, FL. The program runs January–April 2027, with full-time scheduling to be discussed at interview.

You must be enrolled in a Hospitality Management or Culinary Arts program and able to work 20–40 hours per week. Interns will rotate through FOH/BOH stations, engage with guests, and participate in wellness and sustainability initiatives.

Qualifications

• Must be currently enrolled in a college/university and pursuing a Hospitality Management and/or Culinary Arts degree.
• Must be available to work 20–40 hours a week based on business needs & internship requirements.
• Successful completion of sanitation standards training.
• Successful completion of relevant knife skills and/or Intro to Culinary coursework.
• College credit is not required, but we will provide appropriate documentation if necessary.

Responsibilities

• Rotate through FOH and BOH stations depending on location or operational needs.
• Duties may include working stations such as Pizza, deli, salad bar or grill.
• Engage with guests and tailor plates to dietary needs.
• Meet with the team dietitian.
• Review culinary and front‑of‑house standards.
• Learn about wellness and sustainability initiatives.
• Adhere to 'platinum service' customer service standards.
• Assist with catering events, including setup and execution.
• Develop professional relationships and enhance interpersonal skills.
• Interns contribute individually and as a team to support Culinary Services and work toward goals assigned by a manager.

Education

Hospitality Management and/or Culinary Arts degree pursuit
