Job summary

Compass Group USA's FLIK Athletics is hiring a Culinary Intern for the Indianapolis Colts Training Facility in Indianapolis, IN. This paid program runs Summer 2027 and Fall 2027 (July–December 2027) and offers hands-on kitchen experience, mentorship, and exposure to both front- and back-of-house operations.

Open to students enrolled in Hospitality Management or Culinary Arts programs, the internship requires GPA criteria, sanitation training, knife-skill coursework, and the ability to work 20–40

Qualifications

• Must be enrolled in a college/university and pursuing Hospitality Management or Culinary Arts degree.
• GPA requirement of the university for internship.
• Sanitation training completed.
• Knife skills coursework completed.
• Available to work 20–40 hours per week.

Responsibilities

• Rotate through FOH and BOH stations; duties may include working in pizza, deli, salad bar or grill.
• Engage with guests and tailor plates to dietary needs.
• Meet with the team dietitian.
• Review culinary and front-of-house standards.
• Learn about wellness and sustainability initiatives.
• Adhere to platinum service standards.
• Practice safety and sanitation protocols.
• Assist with catering events and setup/execution.
• Develop professional relationships and interpersonal skills.
• Contribute as a team member to support Culinary Services.
