Job summary

Amazon is offering a ten-week Area Manager Intern program stationed at one of our fulfillment centers, sort centers, or delivery stations. You will learn to coach and mentor a team of 50-100 associates, manage daily operations, and deliver an intern project in partnership with site leadership.

The role requires strong communication, teamwork, and customer-service orientation, with shifts that can include nights, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications

• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Learn to coach, manage and develop a team of 50-100 Amazon Associates.
• Drive standard work and continuous improvement through an intern project.
• Work independently and operate in an autonomous environment.
• Stand/walk during shifts lasting up to 12 hours.
• Willing and able to regularly work shift patterns that include nights, weekends, and/or holidays.
