Job summary

Amazon is offering a ten-week Area Manager Intern program to develop leadership skills in a fast-paced warehouse environment. You will coach and mentor a team of 50-100 associates, drive improvement projects, and work across shift patterns designed to support peak operations.

Qualifications

• Current enrollment in a bachelor’s degree program expected to complete between December 2027 and August 2028.
• Strong communication, customer service and interpersonal skills are preferred.
• Currently enrolled in a bachelor’s program for Supply Chain, Business/Management, Engineering or related field.

Responsibilities

• Learn to coach, manage and develop a team of 50-100 Amazon Associates.
• Drive standard work and continuous improvement through an intern project.
• Work independently in an autonomous environment.
• Stand/walk during shifts up to 12 hours.
• Be prepared for nights, weekends and holidays; most sites follow a 4-day work week.
