Job summary

Amazon is offering a ten-week Area Manager Intern program inside one of our United States fulfillment facilities. You will learn to coach, motivate and mentor a team of Amazon associates and partner with site leadership to deliver a summer project.

You will gain hands-on leadership experience in a fast-paced environment, with extensive training and development designed to prepare you for plant leadership roles. This internship emphasizes safety, teamwork, and operational excellence.

Qualifications

• Enrolled in a bachelor’s degree program with expected completion between December 2027 and August 2028.
• Demonstrated strong communication and customer service abilities.
• Pursuing a Bachelor's in Supply Chain, Business/Management, Engineering or related field.

Responsibilities

• Learn to coach, manage and develop a team of 50-100 Amazon Associates.
• Drive standard work and continuous improvement through an intern project.
• Work independently and operate in an autonomous environment.
• Stand/walk during shifts up to 12 hours and adapt to shift patterns.
• Oversee warehouse operations and collaborate with support teams to remove roadblocks.
