Job summary

Amazon.com Services LLC is offering a ten-week Area Manager Intern program on-site at one of its facilities, giving you hands-on leadership experience coaching 50–100 hourly associates. You will lead shifts, drive improvements and complete a summer project with site leadership guidance.

Ideal candidates are enrolled in a bachelor's program with completion expected in 2027–2028, have strong communication skills, and are prepared for a fast-paced, physical warehouse environment with rotated shifts.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in a bachelor’s degree program with expected completion between December 2027 and August 2028.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.
• Enrolled in a Bachelor's program for Supply Chain, Business/Management, Engineering or related field.

Responsibilities

• Learn to coach, manage and develop a team of 50-100 Amazon Associates.
• Drive standard work and continuous improvement through an intern project.
• Work independently and operate in an autonomous environment.
• Stand/walk during shifts lasting up to 12 hours.
• Willing and able to regularly work shifts including nights, weekends, holidays.
• Oversee truck deliveries and sort packages using pallet jacks; operate PIT equipment.
• Work in a variable noise environment; lift up to 49 pounds and move freely.
• Climb and descend stairs where applicable.
