The Davey Tree Expert Company is offering a Summer 2027 Arborist Trainee Internship in Englewood, CO. This temporary, full-time role targets college students seeking hands-on field experience in tree care, plant health care, sales and client services.

Starting date is flexible for Summer 2027, with a pay rate of $22.00 per hour. Responsibilities include climbing trees, joining a tree crew, performing pruning and removal tasks, and learning safety procedures.

Qualifications

• Interest in outdoor work and trees.
• Willingness to participate in training and safety programs.
• Comfort with working at heights and in outdoor environments.

Responsibilities

• Learn to climb trees and assist a tree crew.
• Support pruning and removal services for clients.
• Learn to install safety systems and assist in hazardous-tree removals.
• Maintain and operate tools and equipment safely.
