The Davey Tree Expert Company in Englewood, CO is offering a Summer 2027 Arborist Trainee Internship on-site. This temporary, full-time role targets college students to gain hands-on experience in Tree Care, Plant Health Care, Sales, and Client Services while earning $22.00 hourly.

You’ll be part of a climbing crew, learning pruning and removal techniques, safety protocols, and equipment operation. Flexible start for Summer 2027 with opportunities for advancement and a strong safety culture.

Qualifications

• Love of the outdoors and interest in tree care.
• Willingness to complete orientation and safety trainings.

Responsibilities

• Assist in climbing and operating on tree crews.
• Learn pruning, removal, and canopy work.
• Assist in installing cables, bracing, and safety systems.
• Maintain and operate tools and equipment safely.
