Job summary

AEP is seeking a Station Servicer to perform installation, maintenance, operation, inspection, repair and removal of station equipment across multiple locations in Oklahoma. You will respond to emergencies, perform switching operations, inspect equipment, and coordinate with maintenance contractors while adhering to safety rules and procedures.

Requirements include an associate degree in electrical/mechanical/industrial maintenance or equivalent experience, 24 months of relevant work experience,

Qualifications

Two-year associate degree or equivalent education/experience in electrical/mechanical/industrial maintenance.
24 months of satisfactory work experience as a Station Servicer A or as a Station Electrician A with required qualifications.
Valid Class A CDL is required to operate company vehicles.

Responsibilities

Respond to emergency calls on station trouble and coordinate swift restoration of service.
Perform routine and emergency switching operations at substations per procedures.
Lead DC Supply installation and repair work and ensure proper documentation.
Perform periodic inspections of equipment and report major issues requiring repair.
Maintain station lighting, security, and related control equipment; keep records as required.
