Job summary

HDR Engineering is seeking a Substation Project Manager to join our Power Delivery team. The role involves managing substations projects of varying sizes, coordinating design teams, and ensuring scope, schedule, and budget adherence across domestic and international opportunities.

Preferred candidates hold a FE/PE license with PMP in lieu of PE and have strong communication and organizational skills to lead multidisciplinary teams and engage with clients and stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, related field or equivalent experience.
• Minimum of 2 years project management experience.
• FE, PE license preferred, PMP in lieu of PE.

Responsibilities

• Manage Substation projects across the full lifecycle, including scope, schedule, and budget.
• Direct and mentor Project Engineers, EITs, Coordinators, Designers, and CAD staff.
• Oversee QA/QC processes per HDR Quality Management Systems and support client management and business development as needed.
