CENTRAL MAINE POWER CO is seeking a Substation Operations Supervisor to lead skilled workers in construction, maintenance and system protection for transmission and distribution substations. You will direct safe operations, coordinate with related departments, and ensure adherence to budgets and safety standards to promote customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree plus 4+ years relevant experience preferred.
• Associate degree plus 7 years relevant experience or HS/GED plus progression program and 10 years relevant experience.
• Knowledge of electrical/substation equipment and control devices is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Plans, schedules, assigns, and directs Substation Operations personnel and budgets.
• Oversees substation construction, modification and maintenance projects.
• Ensures transmission and bulk power delivery systems reliability.
• Develops Preventative Maintenance programs aligned with reliability goals.
• Coordinates safety training, inspections, and incident investigations.
• Trains personnel on protection devices, switching, tagging, and safety practices.
