Central Maine Power Co. is seeking an experienced Supervisor for Substation Operations in Lewiston, ME.

You will oversee crews in construction, maintenance and protection of high voltage substations, ensuring safe, reliable power delivery and compliance with standards. The role requires strong supervisory and project management skills, the ability to coordinate with multiple teams, and availability for storms or emergencies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with 4+ years relevant experience or Associate's with 7+ years or HS/GED with progression and 10+ years
• Knowledge of electrical systems, substations, protection and control devices
• Strong supervisory, budgeting and project management skills
• Ability to coordinate across teams and contractors for substation projects
• Willingness to work outside regular hours for storms or emergencies

Responsibilities

• Plan, schedule, and direct Substation Operations workload and budgets
• Coordinate substation projects including capital and automation initiatives
• Ensure compliance with safety, policies, and reliability standards
• Provide technical support for protection devices and control systems
• Lead training and performance evaluations for staff and apprentices
