Job summary

Eversource Energy in Massachusetts seeks an experienced Substation Supervisor to lead construction, maintenance, and repair of substation equipment. You will analyze maintenance data and ensure reliable operation while promoting a strong safety culture.

Responsibilities include supervising crews across T&D substations, coordinating staffing and materials, and driving a customer-first approach. Out-of-hours on-call and weekend shift work are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or the equivalent related experience is required.
• Five or more years of experience.
• Experience in the operation and maintenance of substation facilities is preferred.
• Previous supervisory experience is strongly preferred.
• Valid motor vehicle operator’s license required.
• Strong computer skills including Word and Excel.

Responsibilities

• Supervise crews in construction and maintenance of T&D substations.
• Coordinate staffing, materials, and equipment with other sections to meet schedules.
• Ensure reliability and condition of substation assets.
• Analyze maintenance data and input into company database.
• Set expectations and conduct performance reviews under applicable contracts.
• Enforce safety initiatives and a safety-first culture.
• Provide customer-focused service and resolve issues with other departments.
• On-call rotation and weekend/shift work as required.
