Job summary

Pike Electric, LLC is seeking a Substation Foreman to supervise and coordinate substation construction and maintenance activities, ensuring safety and quality. You will direct the crew, provide technical guidance, and report completed units to management while supporting pre-bid and client pre-construction meetings.

Ideal candidates have 8–9 years in the field, including 5 years as a Top Substation Technician A, and are able to interpret drawings, develop material lists and travel as required.

Qualifications

• Able to perform rigorous physical labor and climb heights.
• Must hold a Commercial Drivers’ License and supply personal hand tools.
• Willing to travel up to 90% and work overtime as needed.

Responsibilities

• Oversee crew safety and productivity during substation construction, maintenance, testing and repair.
• Direct work on high/low voltage systems including buswork, terminations and switchgear.
• Coordinate material lists, documentation and reporting to project management.
• Maintain company vehicles and test equipment.
