Job summary

Pike Electric, LLC is seeking a Substation Foreman to supervise and coordinate substation construction and maintenance activities. The role requires 8–9 years of continuous experience, including 5 years as a Top Substation Technician A, a CDL, and the ability to travel up to 90% of the time.

Qualifications

• 8–9 years of continuous experience with 5 years as Top Substation Technician A.
• Commercial Drivers’ License (CDL) required.
• Able to perform rigorous physical labor and climb/work at heights up to 125 feet.
• Willing to travel 90% of the time.
• Knowledge of construction standards, codes, and substation practices.

Responsibilities

• Oversee crew safety and performance during new construction, maintenance, testing and repair of substation equipment.
• Direct work and provide technical assistance to crew members.
• Coordinate with Project Manager/General Foreman on reporting and job units.
• Participate in job estimation and attend pre-bid/client pre-construction meetings.
• Ensure safety, quality and compliance with company policies and regulations.
