Job summary

Pike Electric, LLC seeks a Substation Foreman to supervise construction and maintenance of substation systems. The role requires coordinating crews, ensuring safety and quality, and reporting progress to the Project Manager.

Expect travel to Georgia and other states as needed. Qualified candidates will have 8–9 years of continuous experience with at least 5 years as Top Substation Technician A, plus a valid CDL and ability to work at heights.

Qualifications

• Commercial Drivers’ License required.
• Ability to lead/coach crew and manage safety.
• Able to read and interpret substation drawings and plans.
• Extensive knowledge of construction standards and codes.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate substation construction and maintenance activities.
• Direct work, assign tasks, and provide technical guidance to crew.
• Ensure safety and quality, monitor compliance with regulations and policies.
• Prepare and report on job progress, units completed, and travel needs.
• Travel to other sites/states as required by client demands.
• Attend pre-bid and pre-construction meetings as needed.
