Job summary

Orbital Engineering, Inc. seeks a Substation Foreman to serve as a Construction Coordinator for projects in Eastern Pennsylvania.

The role involves planning and coordinating field activities to meet schedule and budget goals, with per diem and a company truck provided. The candidate will oversee safety compliance, pre-construction planning, on-site coordination with client project managers, and efficient material logistics.

Qualifications

• Must exhibit strong written and verbal communication capabilities.
• Must be able to interpret construction prints/drawings and related documents.
• Must be organized, self-motivated, and detail oriented.
• Willing to travel as needed; travel and lodging costs are reimbursable.

Responsibilities

• Provide safety oversight and report safety issues to project management.
• Participate in pre-construction planning and site setup including permits and plans.
• During construction, ensure compliance with safety and environmental policies and coordinate with teams and clients.
• Identify field material needs and coordinate delivery with client Construction Manager.
• Prepare Daily Log Reports and track progress, safety incidents, and changes.
