Job summary

Orbital Engineering, Inc. seeks an Electrical Construction Coordinator with experience in transmission, distribution, or substation projects to support Eastern Pennsylvania operations.

This role focuses on coordinating construction activities for designated projects, ensuring safety, schedule, and budget objectives are met. Candidates should reside in PA/tri-state area and be willing to travel within the Eastern PA/Electric Services territory.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or equivalent is required.
• 5 Years Relevant Construction / Maintenance Experience.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Construction Management or similar preferred.
• Experience in Commercial / Industrial T&D or in management preferred.
• Familiarity with construction prints/drawings.

Responsibilities

• Provide safety oversight and ensure compliance with site procedures.
• Plan and review pre-construction drawings and permits.
• Inspect during construction to ensure specifications and permits are followed.
• Coordinate communication with client project manager, engineering, and crew.
• Identify material needs, order equipment, and track deliveries.
• Prepare Daily Log Reports and maintain redline drawings.
• Travel as needed and maintain safety audits.
