Job summary

Orbital is seeking a Substation Foreman to serve as a Construction Coordinator for projects based in Eastern Pennsylvania. The role focuses on planning and coordinating construction activities to meet schedule and budget while ensuring safety and compliance.

Per diem and a company truck are provided. This on-site position requires travel, strong communication, and proficiency with construction drawings, with salary range $90,000–$160,000 annually based on experience.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or equivalent.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Construction Management or similar preferred.
• Experience in Commercial/Industrial T&D or management preferred.
• Familiar with construction prints/drawings.
• OSHA 10 hour and MEA training beneficial.
• Must pass post-offer drug and alcohol tests.

Responsibilities

• Provide safety oversight and report safety issues to supervisors.
• Plan and coordinate pre-construction activities and reviews.
• Inspect site and enforce compliance with drawings, permits, and safety policies.
• Manage RFIs, coordinate material needs, orders, and deliveries.
• Prepare Daily Log Reports tracking progress and deficiencies.
• Maintain redline drawings, conduct weekly safety audits, and sign crew timesheets.
• Occasionally climb ladders and lift up to 50 pounds.
