Job summary

Think Power Solutions is seeking a Field Construction Coordinator to oversee contractors on the Owner's electric transmission system, ensuring contract compliance, safety standards, and design adherence. The role spans upgrades and new substations, with responsibilities across design, materials, and contractor performance.

You will manage schedules, coordinate field activities, and provide progress updates to multiple stakeholders while balancing office and field duties.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of relevant work experience (i.e. Transmission/Substation/Journey Lineman).
• Experience in the Utility industry is a plus.
• Compliance management experience is a plus.
• Proficient with computers, iPad and Microsoft Office products.
• Good communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Must have a valid driver’s license.
• Must be eligible to work in the United States without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Ensure contractors comply with contracts and safety standards on the Owner's electric transmission system.
• Oversee construction projects including upgrades and new substation builds.
• Identify and resolve issues affecting project success (design problems, material shortages, contractor performance).
• Support development and maintenance of project construction schedules.
• Coordinate on-site efforts between entities to ensure smooth operations.
• Update stakeholders on construction status and progress; balance office and field duties.
