Think Power Solutions LLC is seeking a Field Construction Coordinator to oversee contractors on our electric transmission system in Midland, TX. The role blends office and field duties, ensuring contract compliance, safety standards, and adherence to design specs across multiple projects from substations to upgrades.

The ideal candidate has 10+ years in transmission/substation work, strong leadership and communication skills, and a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of relevant work experience in transmission/substation/line work.
• Experience in the utility industry is a plus.
• Proficient with computers, iPad and Microsoft Office products.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Eligible to work in the United States without sponsorship.
• Strong problem-solving, communication, and leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Ensure contractors comply with contracts and safety standards on the Owner's electric transmission system.
• Oversee construction projects, including upgrades and new substation builds.
• Identify and resolve issues that could hinder project success (design, materials, contractor performance).
• Support development and maintenance of project construction schedules.
• Coordinate efforts between on-site entities to ensure smooth operations.
• Update and communicate construction status and project progress to stakeholders.
• Balance office and field duties as required by project needs.
