Job summary

QISG, part of Quanta Services, seeks an Engineering Project Manager – Substation to lead multi-disciplinary teams through the full project lifecycle including proposal, design, procurement support, construction coordination, commissioning and closeout.

You will coordinate with engineering directors, client teams, and partners to ensure safe, compliant and on-time delivery while driving innovation and efficiency in project execution.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 10 years’ experience in the electric utility industry engineering related duties and/or management for high voltage projects.
• ABET-accredited engineering degree required or equivalent professional experience.
• P.E. license preferred; strong leadership of multidisciplinary teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead engineering teams through conceptual to closeout phases of substation projects.
• Define scope, deliverables, and technical requirements for each project.
• Coordinate with engineering partners and review KPIs with senior leadership.
• Ensure compliance with codes, standards, and project schedules.
• Develop training strategies to elevate team performance.
